Memorial Day Weekend in the Burg

We had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. We went to Gburg on Friday, then headed to Rockford for my Cousin Christine's high school graduation and party. Congrats Chris!!!!!!!!!!!We had tons of fun seeing the Malones, Aunt Anna, Uncle David and Great Grandma and Grandpa. We headed back to Galesburg on Sunday and Grandpa grilled some yummy ribs and we hung out by the fire pit. We headed home on Monday, but not without having had tons of fun with Nana and Grandpa! Clayton's First Cardinals Game! Thanks Ali!

Clayton is such a lucky boy. His favorite nurse from SLCH got him tickets to a baseball game for his birthday! Ali, you are the best. We went to the Brewers vs. Cards game today. It was PERFECT weather. Clayton had tons of fun and was such a good boy. Not a good game for the Cards, but oh so fun!

Daddy, make sure you take a nap on the plane. I can't wait to see you (So I got up at 4am) and you never know when I might want to party tonight. Mommy said her and Keely might be sleeping in the basement tonight. Keely already gave up and went out to the couch to sleep.

Fun with Mommy! Shirts and No Shirt.

Clayton and Mommy are so excited that Daddy will be home tomorrow. We miss him tons! We have had a lot of fun together though. Minus the no sleeping thing. :) We have been busy outside and playing a ton. Not to mention we have had some super fun visitors!!!!!! Here are a few pics of the last week.

Another wagon ride. We have created a monster, we had a bit of a melt down tonight when we had to go inside. I think he could have slept in the wagon. HUMMMMM, might be an idea for tonight if nothing else works. Clayton got a special tshirt from someone in the CIA, can't mention a name. Clayton has security clearances already! :)

HELP DADDY, I HAD TO GO TO THE MALL!

Daddy you need to come home. Aunt Anna and Mommy made me go to the mall today over mommy's lunch! They at least gave me some snacks, but it was horrible! :) Love you daddy!

Clayton wore his "I dig dirt" shirt today. What a boy! he is having so much fun playing with Aunt Anna this week. He was a good little boy last night when Aunt Anna and Mommy went out for dinner. He loves watching people. Humm, who does he get that from?

Subdivision Fishing Derby

Our subdivision had a fishing derby this morning at the pond. It was hilarious to see the little kids getting into it. One little boy caught a turtle and was jumping up and down and screaming, he was soooooo excited. Clayton didn't want to show everyone up so he took a bye this year. He and daddy are going to enter next year.

After checking out the derby, Clayton, Aunt Anna and Grandpa took Mommy and Nana to breakfast. It was very yummy. We got a ton done around the house today too. Grandpa mowed the lawn, twice. We cleaned windows, sprayed down the siding and Nana did some more landscaping.

Daddy don't worry, I have it all under control here at the office. I am handling the calls, writing BIG checks and working on some emails. Mommy and I even cleaned up your desk, but don't worry I didn't let mommy throw anything away. I love you!

Clayton's Favorite Hobby!

Clayton loves watching out of the window in the living room. The windows go really low to the ground so it is perfect for him to peer out. Watch and enjoy!

We Miss Daddy!

With Daddy in Cincinnati for 2 weeks, Clayton is really missing him. He was even saying dadadadadada at 3am the other night! Oh and I think I was too! :) The little stinker has a cold and has not been sleeping the best. We have been having tons of fun playing though. I think he could spend hours at the window looking out. Mom, I am sure that he is IDing the birds in the yard. My parents and sister are coming for the weekend and Clayton can't wait! More pics to come dad!
