The Antics of Keely & Clayton

I love to watch Keely and Clayton as they become best buddies. Although, it seems that they are friends who find trouble together! :) From Clayton feeding Keely at the table to some of their newest antics. Clayton has a picnic basket that has fake food in it and he likes to pretend that he eats it. Well, I was in his room and he went over to Keely and tried shoving it in her mouth to have her eat it. Not quite what we want to happen to all his toys. This morning Keely was laying in his room and Clayton was pulling his pants out of the drawer and trying to put them on her head. He loves to throw the ball to her, but doesn't quite get that she is not going to throw it back. Below you will see a video of Clayton's favorite thing to do when he is in his pack-n-play. He thinks it is hysterical to throw things out to Keely for her to get. OH BOY! With him walking I can only imagine the trouble they will get in now. Stay tuned!

HE WALKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are sooooo in trouble! The little man is walking! He is a little wobbly, but it will be no time and he will be running around. He took his first real steps by himself yesterday and today you would think he has been doing it for weeks. Here is a good clip!

Clayton's First Trip to the Zoo

We woke up this morning and it was overcast and fairly comfortable out, so we thought we would head downtown to take Clayton to the Zoo. You really can't beat it, it is a great zoo and everything is free. We knew he would love looking at the animals. He got to see bears, sea lions, giraffes, monkeys, prairie dogs, zebras, penguins, tigers and much more. We had just enough time to look around before it started raining. The pictures are in reverse order, but as you can see he had a great time.

Clayton was fascinated by the little train that you could ride, it started to rain at the end so we will have to do that next time.

Happy 2nd Birthday Keely!

Happy Birthday Little Girl! I can’t believe Keely is already 2! Her Birthday was on July 5th. Time goes way to fast. Keely has become such a huge part of our family and is a wonderful big sister. She loves her little brother and lets him do just about anything to her. It is fitting that his third word was dog! She has such a personality and is such a snuggler! We can't thank the Goedekers enough for choosing us. We love her so much!

Keely got some good presents for her bday, including bones, new tennis balls and some treats. She had her Nana and Grandpa here and Aunt Anna called to wish her a Happy Birthday too.

4th of July

We had a wonderful and low key 4th of July this year. Nana and Grandpa came down on Thursday and hung out all weekend. Justin and dad went golfing, we grilled out, mom and I went shopping, we had a yummy breakfast at First Watch and we did lots of playing with Clayton! We of course got some projects done with the help of my parents. Oh, and played some Euker too! I didn't take many pictures, but I love this picture of Clayton and Aunt Ellie checking out the activity in the backyard. Thanks for a great weekend Nana and Grandpa.

Fun at Tammy's House!

A couple of weeks ago some of the girls from work got together at Tammy's house with our kids for play time and some pool time. I didn't get the greatest pics (I don't have one of Dylan), but we had so much fun and hope to do it again soon. Oh and I found our summer drink! Thanks Tammy!
